Steven & Virginie Workshop

March 30 - April 1, 2012 we are hosting a weekend workshop with amazing and world famous instructors Steven & Virginie! We also have the Gordon Webster Band from New York City playing for us for the Saturday night dance and as part of the workshop!

Full weekend registration is limited to just 45 leaders and 45 followers to ensure that each participant benefits from an intimate learning environment. We will sell out! To avoid disappointment, register as soon as you can. Trust us, you won't want to miss it!

Friday Night

Cost: Included in the weekend workshop pass -or- $10 entry
Lesson: 8.30pm to 9.30pm (drop-in intro)
Dancing: 9.30pm to 12.30am

Saturday Night

Pricing

Now till March 2nd = $110.00
March 3rd – March 23rd = $130.00
After March 23rd = $150.00

For this workshop, you need to be comfortable with swingout and partner connection.
As a lead, you are comfortable leading the basic moves such as swingout, lindy circle, tuck-turn and under-arm turn. Follows, you have no trouble reading and following the leads of the basic moves, such as those mentioned above. Typically, you have been lindy-hopping every week at dances and lessons for a minimum of 6 months or more.

Refund Policy

Please be aware that there will be no refunds or cancellations once you have registered. Registrations can be transferred to another dancer of the same dance role (Lead or Follow). Any exceptions to this policy are solely at the discretion and approval of the OSDS.

Billeting:

Please note that we will certainly try to accommodate all the housing requests that we can but we may not be able to find space for everyone. For the best results, let us know as soon as possible if you can offer/need housing so we can find space for as many people as possible. Thanks.
