Dear Swing Dancers,
 
It is with deep regret that we announce the cancellation of the Steven and
Virginie Workshop that was scheduled to take place on March 30th - April 1st,
2012.
 
We have had such good experiences with Steven and Virginie and the Gordon
Webster Band over the past two years that this was a very difficult
decision to make. Unfortunately, due to a recent issue with a reserved
venue that was out of our control, we have not been able to secure adequate
venues to enable us to put on a successful event, despite a great deal of
time and effort put into finding an alternate solution.
 
Full refunds will be given to everyone who signed up for the workshop – for
those who paid in cash, please see the front door staff on Friday night
(available this Friday and subsequent, although if we don’t see you within
a couple of weeks we’ll contact you via another method to make
arrangements), and for those who paid via Paypal we will automatically
process a refund within a week of this announcement.

 
It is our full intention to rectify the issues of venues to our
satisfaction and to invite Steven and Virginie and the Gordon Webster Band
to Ottawa again in the future. Thank you for your understanding.
